Load your family and friends into the car and head over to The Conservatory in Doylestown for an afternoon of fun at the Family Music & Art Fest.

What: This family-friendly arts celebration

When: Saturday, June 1 from 1-4 p.m. (rain date is Sunday, June 2)

Where: On the on the grounds of non-profit school for the arts, 4459 W. Swamp Road.

Why: All proceeds from the event will benefit The Conservatory’s community outreach initiatives, including music therapy for people with special needs and our “smArt” teen mentoring arts program for at-risk youth. The event is sponsored by Univest, and the Art Show & Sale is sponsored by Gratz Gallery and Conservation Studio.

Cost: Admission is free, but there will be a cost for food and some activities, including an art sale and a 50/50 raffle.

The event will celebrate the arts through several activities, including a Battle of the Bands, an instrument petting zoo, a community mural, face painting, and a mixed media art project. Also taking place that day is an Art Show & Sale, which will include 6×6-inch works of more than 50 local artists on sale for $50.
