Doylestown is set to become an Art Mecca this weekend as the 27th Annual Doylestown Arts Festival gets underway September 8th and 9th.

This event closes downtown roads to traffic and opens them up to art-loving pedestrians and cyclists. As always, this event coincides with the Thompson Bike Classic so not only will festival goers get a look at unique creations they will get to watch racing cyclists zoom past. On Sunday, six bike races will roll through the festival.

This event will feature 160 juried artists, live music on five stages, live art and interactive demonstrations. There will also be food trucks and local vendors serving up delicious dishes. This festival is great for all ages and is free and open to the public. The art fest goes down rain or shine.

Art Fest ramps up at 10 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m. each day. The event is located in Downtown Doylestown, with parking in the county parking garage at  Broad and Union in Doylestown, with a shuttle available to those who need it.
