We'd like to thank you; reading through the comments was a nice reminder of all the kind people who live around here (check them out here). We loved reading about people's fond memories; the couples who have been married for many years, the engagements, the return-ers to Bucks County. We were also touched by so many people who truly do deserve a night out, from those battling illness to those who have been victims of the recession. Peddler's Village would especially like everyone to know how thankful they are for the many, many generous and kind comments from people who wanted to win it for someone else or who said to give it to others more deserving.
With over 80 entrants vying for the the free Valentine's Day dinner for 2 at Earl's Bucks County in Peddler's Village, the team over at Peddler's Village had their work cut out for them (I was certainly glad that I didn't have to make the final decision!). So difficult, in fact, was this decision that the Peddler's Village team has decided to award TWO winners!
And so, without further ado, the winners are:

I would like to win this dinner for 2 not for me but for my brother and his wife. They were married 8 years ago on Valentine’s Day so it is their special day.:) Since then, they have had once struggle after another (financial and health wise). They have two small children(4yrs and 1yrs) and they don’t get out much.(actually, never for themselves)
Both have lost their jobs in this past year and so money is REALLY tight for them. They really could use a night out for just the two of them.
So, my Valentine’s gift would be for them to be able to enjoy a fantastic dinner for two on their anniversary.
I hope you consider, this would really be a nice gift for two special people.

Hi. This request isn’t for me, it’s for a special male friend in my life. 9 months ago he lost his wife of 35 years to cancer. She was also a great friend of mine. I have seen this man hurt so much and now he has moved on and he has been dating a girl he has known and worked with years ago. I would like to see them win this romantic dinner and enjoy this time together. Thank you
Congratulations!!
