For over 30 years, The Dance Academy has been a place of teaching and nurturing a love for dance. With expert instructors and carefully crafted programs, The Dance Academy offers a supportive and inspiring environment where dancers of all ages can thrive, while having fun. TDA offers a rewarding and enjoyable experience that meets the needs of all different types of students interested in the art of dance. Students range from ages 2.5 to adult, from beginner to professional.

Building Social Skills and Fostering Confidence

The Dance Academy helps dancers build social skills such as teamwork, empathy and respect towards each other, truly creating a connected family. They strive to help build confidence by providing constructive and positive feedback to help instill a sense of accomplishment and resilience. The instructors at TDA know and communicate that dance is a healthy outlet for kids of all ages to express their emotions through movement. The Dance Academy helps each student develop not only in dance, but socially, morally and ethically. While students may dance with a class or team, there is still a very strong personal element. The classes are built to help each child develop strong core techniques and uncover their unique, individual artistic talent. The environment at TDA encourages dancers to reach their maximum potential using dance as both an educational and inspirational experience.

The mission at The Dance Academy is to instill the love for dance in all who pass through the studio doors. They strive to impact all members of the community. The Dance Academy offers an inclusive and stress-free environment that makes every child feel welcome and valued. Not only that, but the classes are a lot of fun! Classes are offered from children to adult, including toddler dance, ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, creative dance, theater dance and acrobatics.
