Parents! We know that this school year is going to look very different. Now more than ever, our kids need to hear stories of positive role models, hope, and leadership. Through our expanded virtual effort, CDM at 3 pm, Travis Manion Foundation's Northeast team will offer opportunities for your child to participate in conversations about character, service, and leadership through both guided discussions and story readings.
Each Wednesday at 3 pm (EST), a Character Does Matter mentor will lead a discussion on character strengths and stories. Each week will rotate between a session geared towards middle and high school students and a session of story readings geared towards 2nd to 5th graders.
Dates will be as follows–all will be at 3 pm EST facilitated on Zoom:

Character Does Matter strengthens character and leadership skills in young adults. Grounded in the evidence-based field of Positive Psychology, the program uses a strengths-based approach to foster character traits in the next generation through a combination of informal discussions and activity-based learning. By sharing stories of real people who exemplify great character and leadership, Character Does Matter demonstrates what it means to live the “If Not Me, Then Who…” ethos – and then challenge students to do the same.
