BINGOThat's right you read correctly BINGO is making a come-back.  The popularity of the “old timers” game of BINGO is growing due to the churches and organizations that are putting on fun BINGO events all over the area such as “Coach BINGO” where you have a chance at winning much desired Coach purses.  One local charity is taking advantage of the upswing.  FACT of Bucks County, which stands for Fighting AIDS Continuously Together in Bucks, Hunterdon, and Mercer Counties, has been hosting community BINGO events for 15 years and almost every event sells out!

It costs $20 to play and that is all you need for a great night out.  The group hosts themed BINGO nights such as Sweetheart BINGO in February and Jingle Bell BINGO during the holidays.  Participants are encouraged to dress up for the theme.  Miss Pumpkin is the hilarious host for the night and calls out the numbers for the game.  The night includes dinner as well, and you can opt to participate in special BINGO calls for a little extra dough.  The best part is that these fun filled nights have raised about $36,000.00 for the organization annually to be combined with the monies raised during their Annual AIDS WALK, on September 28th this year, and other events for a total of over $110,000.00 a year to support the financial needs of people living with HIV/AIDS in Bucks, Hunterdon, and Mercer Counties.  The group also distributes grants for education and prevention.

So get some friends together and head out for a good old fashioned bight of BINGO at the New Hope Eagle Fire Hall.  The Next event is Hooray for the Red, White, & Blue BINGO!  Doors open at 6pm, BINGO starts around 7pm and usually concludes around 9:30pm.
