The Central Bucks Family YMCA has long been a meeting place, resource, and friend to the Bucks County community. With their newly designed facilities, 2011 has already been an amazing year of new & exciting features, but the YMCA isn't stopping there. In fact, now they're putting the power in YOUR hands. Community members, whether YMCA members or not, can now submit their personal wish-list for family friendly offerings they would like to see at the YMCA!
Not only can the public submit their own ideas, but the winning submission, chosen during public voting running April 18th through 25th, gets a FREE month membership to the Central Bucks Family YMCA! What do you have to lose? Simply enter your family friendly idea here.

Get inspiration for your submission by browsing through some of the awesome family friendly programs already offered at the Central Bucks Family YMCA. Check out their always jam-packed event calendar for even more examples.
1. The YMCA recently incorporated a ‘Class Pass’ for children in Child Watch babysitting. While parents are working out, Central Bucks Family YMCA members get 2 free hours of babysitting per day. Now children in Child Watch can purchase a 5-time ‘class pass’ and take classes while their parents work out.

2. Currently, the YMCA offers classes with moms and babies (Mommy & Baby Time –work out together); Dad & Child Super Sports for 3 to 5 yrs and their Dads; a new ‘Buggy Brigade – stroller fitness’ walking with your baby class; plus a variety of other youth sports and swim lessons including both child and parent.
3. Family friendly events including First Friday Doylestown events, Healthy Kids and Families Days, family walk & activities, and the always popular movie nights.
4. Relaxing in the YMCA's large lobby, where families can watch TV, warm by the fireplace, and enjoy the café alongside the outdoor playground.
5. A teen center that is free to community, offering them a place to ‘hang’.
6. Pool observation areas so parents can watch kids as they get lessons or swim with the team.
