This Saturday 5/22, Newtown is holding its first wine festival, featuring 8 local wineries,  a live jazz band, and chocolates from the Newtown Chocolate Shoppe.  The outdoor event will be held at the Newtown Swim Club from 12-5pm.  Participants will receive a 6 bottle canvas bag and 10% discount at local wineries throughout the summer so it's definitely a worth-while investment for local wine afficionados.
