The Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce announced that ‘1st Fridays New Hope’ will start this week, August 1st, and Run through December 5th. New Hope has long been a place to enjoy especially during the warm months of Spring, Summer, and Fall with great bars and restaurants, fabulous art galleries and local shops, and of course the Bucks County Playhouse. The Chamber is promising that First Friday’s will give visitors the chance to peruse art galleries and meet local artists.

The event will run on the first Friday of every month from 5:00pm-9:00pm. Participating venues will offer refreshments and opportunities to meet artists. This is welcome news after losing the fun of New Hope’s Friday night summer fireworks earlier this season and hopefully the event will attract those who miss the First Friday celebrations in nearby Doylestown.
