Whether you are an avid fisher-person or want to give the hobby a try, Bucks County has a plethora of opportunities for you to do so in our beautiful waterways. There are lakes, rivers, and streams throughout the 622 miles of Pennsylvania that is considered Bucks County. Fishing is possible in all three types of water and each has it’s own unique experience.
One of the most popular fish to hunt for in the Delaware river is the bass. In fact the 2014 Bassmaster Elite Series will take place in the Delaware in August. Bassmaster Elite is a 4-day professional tournament with a grand prize of $100,000.00. In addition to bass Bucks County’s waters also offers Bluegill, Carp, Catfish, Trout, Walleye and more. Before you get started it is best to go onto the Fish and Boat Commission’s site to find out rules and regulations.
