Whether your team won or lost last Sunday, it’s great that football season has arrived again. The sounds and sights of the game, and the hint of fall in the air provide the perfect excuse to have a get together. You don’t want to spend game day in the kitchen. Lucky for you, the Capuano family is willing to do the cooking for you! With recipes brought over from Italy, the owners of Carlucci’s Restaurants offer a convenient and delicious way to feed your guests at your next football gathering.

The family is originally from the town of Monte Di Procida in Italy, just south of Naples. Two of the brothers came to the United States in the early 1980s as young men and were joined by their parents and youngest brothers in the early 90s. Since then, they have all worked together in the family business. Most recently, the third generation has gotten involved. Carlo, son of Aniello (one of the brothers), has graduated from St. Joseph’s University having earned a degree in Food Marketing and Business management. One of his goals is to expand the family’s party business, becoming, “every customer’s first choice for their family functions.”

One way the family of restaurants is doing that is to offer catering. The choice of faire available on the catering menu is extensive, ranging from pasta trays like baked ziti and lasagna to veal trays, sandwich tray, and desserts. But if you are looking to feed a hungry crowd at a football game gathering, they offer many different trays of sides including:

  • Bruscetta Carlucci
  • Stuffed Mushrooms
  • Puffy Bread
  • Pizza and strombolis
  • And of course, what football event is complete without the Hot Wings?
