Francesca Ruscio
We're excited to share that the talented Francesca Ruscio will be the official BH TV host at the 2015 Bucks Happening List Red Carpet Bash!
Francesca, a Bucks County native, gaduated from Central Bucks East in 2011, and is now dually enrolled at Temple University and Mississippi State University’s Geoscience Study Away Program pursing a career in Broadcast Meteorology.
In between her busy academic schedule, Francesa was crowned Miss Philadelphia 2013, and currently works as the weather anchor for the PHL17 Weekday Morning News Team. She serves as a true advocate for the arts of Philadelphia as the official host of the Philadelphia chapter of RAW Natural Born Artists, an international organization that provides front seat exposure and a voice to independent artists of our community. Francesca uses her interview and public speaking skills to promote the small businesses of Philadelphia through local commercials.
Knowing that Philly Sports could pass for a religion in Philadelphia, you can occasionally hear her talk sports on CBS 94WIP’s morning show, and being a contributor for CSN’s Inside Golf segment. On the side, she is a certified personal trainer working with individuals who are handicapped, injured, or have special needs. Using the gift of gab, Francesca finds ways to give back, volunteer, and champion the wonderful charitable organizations that have inspired her during her year of service as Miss Philadelphia 2013. She enjoyed spending time with the children at CHOP, spreading awareness about the Hamels Foundation, raising money for the Wounded Warriors Project, and providing PR, advocacy, and funds for the Curing Retinal Blindness Foundation.
