Ghost Hunting Workshop for Kids

When: Wednesday, October 23 from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Township Library of Lower Southampton (Feasterville),  1983 Bridgetown Pike, Feasterville

For Grades 5 – 12. Learn all about ghost hunting, examine tools used in ghost detection, and hear about the paranormal experiences and research of the South Jersey Ghost Research group. Perfect for putting you in a haunted Halloween mood. Register here.

The Not so Spooky Halloween Party at The Blinkinghouse

When: Now through October 31 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Where: 9 Franklin Street, Levittown

The Blinkinghouse is popular for its incredible Christmas display set to music, but did you know they also do a Halloween show?! Kermit, Animal, and their Muppet friends sing 6 Halloween songs played over your car radio at 92.9 FM. Many ghosts and other haunts dance to the music. Check out their Facebook page to see a video.

Spooky Stories by the Fire

When: Thursday, October 24 and Monday, October 28 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Where: Bucks County Free Library Doylestown Branch, 150 S. Pine Street, Doylestown

Sip hot cocoa, munch marshmallows and listen to stories around the outdoor fire pit. Hot cocoa begins at 6:30 p.m. with stories at 7 and repeating at 7:30. All ages are welcome.

Movie Night Under the Stars: E.T.

When: Thursday, October 24 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Where: Langhorne Branch Bucks County Free Library, 301 S. Pine Street, Langhorne

Bring the family for an outdoor screening of this classic 80s film. There will be activities and Haley Quinn's Food Truck. All ages are welcome. Bring chairs or blankets.

Charlie Brown Family Movie & Craft Time

When: Friday, October 25 from 11 a.m. to noon
Where: New Hope-Solebury Library, 93 W. Ferry Street, New Hope

Come to the library for the first in a series of screenings of three Charlie Brown holiday movies, which will be followed by Holiday Crafts! Good Grief, you can't help but have a happy Halloween! Register here.

Peddler’s Village Halloween Spooktacular

When: Friday, October 25 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Where: Peddler’s Village, Routes 202 & 263, Lahaska

Kids should come dressed in their Halloween costumes to trick-or-treat at the Village shops. There will also be jack o'lanterns created by the community on display throughout the weekend. Click here for information about the Pumpkin Carving Contest. Deadline to enter is October 21.

Halloween Party at The Little Gym (Open to Public)

When: Friday, October 25 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: 500 Oxford Valley Road, Langhorne

The Little Gym of Langhorne is hosting a Halloween Party that is open and FREE for all! Come by with your kiddos dressed in their costumes for a costume contest, gym time, crafts, and games! Call 215-741-1001 to RSVP.

Creepy Candyland: A Spooky Event for Tweens and Teens

When: Friday, October 25 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Where: Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe Street, Bristol

This live action board game takes Candyland and mixes in some Halloween twists! Players will have to answer a variety of questions to make it out alive! Come in costume! This event is geared to children in grades 4th through 12th. Register online here.

Doylestown Spooktacular Parade & Costume Contest

When: Saturday, October 26 at 10 a.m.
Where: Pine Street, Doylestown

This free family event in the heart of Doylestown is fun for adults, kids and well-behaved pets! The event begins with registration for the costume contest at 10 a.m. on the lawn of the old courthouse along Court Street. Costume judging begins at 11 a.m. with prizes for Kids, Pets and Family Theme. The parade will begin after the costume winners are announced (around noon) and will go down Pine Street and along E. State Street to Main Street. Kids (and pets!) are welcome to trick-or-treat at participating businesses after the parade.

Not-So-Scary Movies: Hocus Pocus at the Levittown Library

When: Saturday, October 26 from noon to 2 p.m.
Where: Levittown Library, 7311 New Falls Road, Levittown

Harry Potter Trivia Contest

When: Saturday, October 26 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: New Hope-Solebury Library, 93 W. Ferry Street, New Hope

Are you a Harry Potter? Just how many details do you know about Harry and his friends in the Wizarding World? Find out during the Harry Potter Trivia Contest! For kids grades 5-12; Special Table for Adult Muggles. Don't forget your costume!

Sensory Friendly Halloween Haunt

When: Saturday, October 26 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Where: 507 Girard Avenue, Croydon

Croydon Haunted Hollows and TB Children's Services present this sensory-friendly Halloween event. Croydon Haunted Hollows is the result of a family’s effort to revive the spirit of Halloween and provide trick-or-treaters with a free, family-fun walk through a harrowing scene of frights and specters.

Newtown Borough Halloween Parade

When: Saturday, October 26 at 10 a.m.

Where: Leaves from the Stocking Works at 301 S. State Street, ends at the Brian Gregg Park on North Congress Street

In addition to the parade, you can participate in the costume and pumpkin decorating contests. Judging for both competitions is before the parade begins. See the site for more details.

Halloween Pumpkin Mash

When: Saturday, October 26 from 10 a.m. to noon
Where: Tamanend Park, 2nd Street Pike, Southampton

Search for hidden pumpkins in Tamanend Park, stop by the Farmhouse for Pumpkin decorating and get those costumes ready for a Halloween costume contest (and don’t forget those bags to fill with goodies).  There will also be a hayride, crafts and face-painting!  This event is free but please register online here.

Halloween Boo Bash at Oxford Valley Mall

When: Saturday, October 26 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Oxford Valley Mall, 2300 E. Lincoln Highway, Langhorne

Bring the kids for an afternoon of fun! Kids can participate in Halloween crafts and a dance party in the Center Court from noon to 2 p.m. Then go trick-or-treating at participating stores from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Remember to bring a bag to collect candy.

Mall-O-Ween at Neshaminy Mall

When: Saturday, October 26 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Neshaminy Mall, 707 Neshaminy Mall, Bensalem

Canal-o-ween

When: Sunday, October 27 through Saturday, November 2
Where: Delaware Canal, N. Edgewater Ave, Yardley

A week-long tradition that will kick off with the 11th annual Carve-O-Thon on Sunday, October 27 from 12 to 3. Guests are invited to help carve over 300 pumpkins to create the Jack-O-Lantern Stroll that will debut that night.

Trunk or Treat at Calvary Bristol

When: Sunday, October 27 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Where: 250 Green Lane, Bristol

Safe, fun, lots of candy! This event is free for everyone to attend. If you'd like to bring your car and hand out candy, email TrunkorTreatBristol@gmail.com. There will be a $50 cash prize for the best decorated car.

When: Tuesday, October 29 and Thursday, October 31 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Halloween Preschool Storytime and Parade

When: Tuesday, October 29 from 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Where: New Hope-Solebury Library, 93 W. Ferry Street, New Hope

Join Miss Patricia and Miss Marge for a special Halloween preschool storytime and Parade! Read books, sing songs, and do crafts. Wear your Halloween costume in the Parade! For preschoolers age five and under and their caregivers. No registration necessary.

Newtown Township Halloween Parade

When: Tuesday, October 29 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: Newtown Township Administration Building, 100 Municipal Drive, Newtown

Bring you little ones (specifically geared for kids 3 to 8) trick or treating around the Township complex. During the parade, you will visit the Police, Emergency Services, Public Works, Administration, Codes & Zones, Parks and Recreation and the Tax office. Mad Science will have a show at the end of the parade. This is a free event, but please pre-register at this link.

Halloween Storytime & Costume Dance Party at Quakertown Library

When: Wednesday, October 30 and Thursday, October 31 from 10:30 to 11:30
Where: 401 W. Mill Street, Quakertown

Sing songs, read slightly spooky stories and get in the Halloween mood with a costume parade around the library and dance party! If you can’t make it on the 30th, there will be another party on Halloween morning.

Halloween Storytime at Southampton Library

When: Thursday, October 31 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Where: 947 Street Road, Southampton

Come dressed in your costume for this Halloween-themed storytime and craft.

Halloween Storytime at Levittown Library

When: Thursday, October 31 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

Not So Spooky Storytime and Costume Parade at Yardley Library

When: Thursday, October 31 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Where: 1080 Edgewood Road, Yardley

Children of all ages will have a blast with silly stories, songs, dancing, and a parade across the parking lot to visit friends at the Lower Makefield Police Dept. Costumes encouraged!

Halloween Storytime at Perkasie Library

When: Thursday, October 31 from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Where: 491 Arthur Avenue, Perkasie

Wear your costumes for a not-so-spooky Halloween storytime with books, songs and dancing.

Trick or Treating at Philadelphia Mills

When: Thursday, October 31 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Where: 1455 Franklin Mills Circle, Philadelphia

Participating stores will have a pumpkin in their window.

Trunk or Treat at the Christian Life Center

When: Thursday, October 31 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: 3100 Galloway Road, Bensalem

Trunk or Treat is a FREE EVENT for all children and their families! It's a safe and fun opportunity for kids to get candy from decorated cars with their parents. There will also be fun games and activities. A photo book, DJ and concessions (cash only) help complete the atmosphere for this fall celebration!
