A local company that enjoys giving back to the community and helping their neighbors is a genuine way to describe the Gannon Insurance Agency. Located in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, the Gannon Agency is proud to support and be involved with multiple local charities throughout each year. This year they have partnered with such organizations as Bensalem P.A.L. (Police Activities League), the Sunshine Foundation, Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Bucks County and NOVA (Network of Victim Assistance). The most recent donation just last week, was to the Bensalem PAL in the amount of $500. These donations are made possible because of the referrals received from friends and clients of the Gannon Insurance Agency.

This year was the Gannon Agency’s 1st ever Bikes for Reading program and it was such a success! The goal is to reward students from a locally selected school who read 70 hours or more in the current school year. Each student that reaches that goal is then entered into a raffle and one student from each of the grades 2nd thru 6th are awarded a brand new bicycle. The kids enjoy competing but also were excited for those students who received the bikes. The selected school this year was St. ChGarles Borromeo also in Bensalem. The ultimate goal for this project was to deliver a strong message to this younger generation about valuing your community as well as enjoyment in reading. The smiles and excitement beaming from the kids and everyone involved that day proved the magnitude of success from this wonderful program!
