There's no need to travel to experience incredible live music, dancing, and the tastes of summer! The Newtown Athletic Club (NAC) offers all of this and more at its weekly Friday Night Live events. And it all happens poolside at the beautiful Escape Resort, Restaurant and Bar.

When Friday night comes around, you deserve a getaway! Skip packing your bags, avoid the shore traffic, and don't even worry about a babysitter! The NAC's outdoor pool complex, Escape Resort, invites the community to Buck's County's premier outdoor oasis for a summer evening of fun.

Local artists perform from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. with Slidewinder Blues Band, Tubetop Mama and Kirko Band as just a few of the bands this summer. Enjoy drinks, snacks or dinner while listening to some tunes. Escape Resort offers an adult pool, hot tub, fire pit and three bars – all open during Friday Night Live.

Have kids? The NAC also offers Kids Night Out from 5:30 to 10:30, which includes pizza and a snack for $18 per child. (Childcare is free for NAC Members attending Friday Night Live.)

During the rest of the week, Escape Resort, Restaurant & Bar is an elite, members only outdoor resort.

The family pool area includes a zero-entry pool, two 25 ft. water slides, a lazy river, activity pool, splash pad, upper pool deck with closed seating, a brand new play ground & basketball court. The adult pool offers 50 ft. of serenity, a hot tub, over 150+ loungers, poolside service, a covered dining area, and cabana rentals.

Escape Resort’s full restaurant and bar is open to the community. When visiting for lunch, dinner or Happy Hour (dining only) during the week (Monday-Friday), no guest fees apply. Happy Hour is offered Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. and includes $3 Drafts, 1/2 price well drinks and 1/2 price appetizers and flat breads.

There may be cover charges for non-Members for some events. Registration is required for Kid's Night Out.

Friday Night Live is every Friday evening from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.,
