Jamie Greubel isn't the only local bringing back a medal from the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi! Chris Creveling of Kintnersville, along with his short track teammates – J.R. Celski, Eddy Alvarez and Jordan Malone -rose above an enormous amount of pressure. In the final speedskating race of the 2014 Games, the U.S. had yet to medal.
In an extremely close 5000-meter relay on Friday night, the U.S. team finished in 6:42:371, just .271 behind Russia, proudly taking the silver medal.
Both teams broke the old Olympic record.
Congratulations Chris!
