Bucks County has always been known for the arts and this weekend the arts are all around, between theater and music this weekend is sure to be full of sweet sounds.

On Saturday, July 28 from 11 a.m. to noon, the Wizard of Oz will be on the stage at Delaware Valley University. The show will be at the Life Sciences Building Auditorium at 700 East Butler Avenue in Doylestown. This show will feature young performers and is hosted by the Bucks County Center for Performing Arts.

On Friday, July 27 Peter and the Starcatcher will be on at the Town and Country Players at 4158 Old York Road in Buckingham. The family-friendly show is about a young orphan boy who can't grow up. It's a story with magic, pirates, and friendship. The show runs through August 4.

This weekend Beatlemania is taking over the Bristol Riverside Theatre with Beatlemania Now. The show recaptures the excitement of the 1960s band. This Beatles Tribute band, called “Brilliant!” by the NY Daily News. This band performs live on-stage against a backdrop of stunning images which evoke memories of decades past. The show is on the stage July 27, 28 and 29. The theater is located at 120 Radcliffe Street in Bristol.
