Season of Lights at  Peddler's Village

Peddler's Village welcomes the Season of Lights with the Grand Illumination Celebration on Friday, November 17, 6-9 pm. Shops open until 10 pm! The annual Gingerbread Competition and Display also opens on November 17. Free admission and parking.

The Gingerbread Competition & Display is a feast for the eyes with more than 50 creative and whimsical entries on exhibit in the Village Gazebo.

Photos with Santa at Giggleberry Fair start after the lighting and run Fridays-Sundays through December 23.

Sesame Place’s A Very Furry Christmas
November 18th-December 31st

Join your favorite Sesame Street friends in a family-friendly celebration of everything holiday! Sing along to 3 special holiday spectaculars, and don't miss the chance to meet Lightning, everyone's favorite reindeer from Elmo Saves Christmas. New in 2017, stop by and have your photo taken with Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer!

Shady Brook Farms

Experience the magic of three million lights illuminating acres of farmland. Encounter familiar characters and whimsical displays. A must-see for the holiday season! Fee: A carload is $25, $30/ mini-bus, and $100 / bus. Tractor-drawn wagon rides will be available Monday through Wednesday at $12 per person, weather permitting.

11th Annual Bucks County Holiday TreeFest
Nov. 21st – January 4th, 2018

Stop by the Bucks County Visitor Center will be filled with holiday cheer as 25 uniquely decorated trees light up the gallery. Enjoy musical entertainment and catch up with Santa Claus throughout this 6-week celebration.

29 artists, organizations, and community groups decorate Pearl S. Buck's home, a National Historic Landmark in Bucks County. Pearl, a social activist, wanted to create a space to celebrate the holidays, inviting the community to come together in decorating her home. The tradition continues to be one of the area's most treasured annual holiday traditions. Drop in or call to reserve your spot!

Byers' Choice

Stop by the Christmas Capitol of Bucks County, Byers' Choice this holiday season! Explore the store to find handcrafted holiday delights, including gingerbread houses and advent calendars. Celebrate the season with a special one-man-performance of “A Christmas Carol.” Gerald Dickens, great-great grandson of Charles Dickens, will take on all twenty-six parts of this unforgettable tale. Showtimes are:

Mercer Museum

A plethora of options over the next few months! Visit the Mercer Museum to visit the “Under the Tree: A Century of Holiday Trees and Toys” exhibit. See Fonthill Castle decked out for the holidays December 2-January 2, 2017.

Guided Christmas Tours at Historic Fallsington
Fallsington, PA
Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays by appointment from December 1 until – December 23
Historic Fallsington will be offering special Christmas tours of three historic buildings beautifully decorated for the holiday. Tours begin at 10 am ongoing through the day, last tour at 3 pm. Call 215-295-6567 to schedule an appointment.

Winter Wonderland: Holiday Decoration
Fonthill Castle, East Court St & Route 313, Doylestown
December 5 – December 31st
See the castle decorated for the season with themed trees, Victorian decorations and greens throughout. Fonthill’s other holiday events include a free open house, Holiday Festivities for the Family, an afternoon Holiday Lights Meander, and evening Candlelight Holiday Tours. Reservations are recommended. $15 adults/$13 seniors (65+)/$8 youth (6-17)

Newtown Borough Holiday House Tour
Newtown Historic Association, Centre Ave & Court St, Newtown
December 2nd, 10:00am – 4:00pm
Join Newtown Borough as they celebrate 52 years of holiday house tours. Entry includes private residences and several public buildings, including the Half-Moon Inn. Tickets are $30 per person.  Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Newtown Book & Record Exchange or online at the Associations website. On the day of the tour, tickets can be purchased at the Half-Moon Inn and the Stocking Works. No photos or high-heeled shoes are permitted in the houses.

Washington Crossing Reenactment
December 25th, 2017 – 1PM

Every December, the Friends of Washington Crossing Park organize the reenactment of the Christmas Crossing, when George Washington and his men crossed the Delaware on Christmas Day. Come and see authentically dressed military reenactors as they row across the river in replica Durham boats to celebrate our nation's history. Be sure to arrive early to get a good viewing space along the water!
