Driving along Route 202 the other day, we happened to notice a sign for the Bucks County Audubon Society. Knowing that the organization is located in Honey Hollow Park, we decided to take a detour and check out their scenic grounds. A few minutes later we found ourselves driving along narrow roads, marveling over remarkable houses, & gazing into endless fields. When we finally came to Honey Hollow, tucked down yet another teeny tiny road, we were very intrigued.
A spacious barn hosts their visitor center, where we found the Honey Hollow teaching staff winding down after a day of summer camp. We had known that Honey Hollow had several hiking trails (open daily form 9am-5pm), but we also found out that the land is used as an educational center, hosting various classes & field trips. After meeting a few scaly, green friends & checking out a fun fossil display, we briefly walked the grounds to check out their trails.
One thing is for certain- with over 60 acres of land, there is a lot more for us to explore at Honey Hollow. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Take a look at the map below & go exploring!
