January is here and the winter season’s biggest event is just around the corner!  Winter Festival runs from Saturday January 19, 2012 through Sunday January 27, 2013.

Saturday January 19th

Kick-off Winter Festival with the Fire & Ice Ball from 7pm to 11pm at the New Hope Boro Community Room. Tickets $20 Advance/ $25 at the door.

Thursday January 24th 

At 7pm, the Taste of WinterFest is held at the Lambertville Station.  An evening of fine food, wine, and beer.  Sample the best from local area restaurants, breweries, vineyards and farms.  Tickets $40.

Friday January 26th

National Act, Pure Prairie League with Special Guest Craig Bickhardt take the stage at the Stephen J. Buck Memorial Theatre at the high school at 8pm. Tickets $45 Advance / $50 At the door.

Saturday January 25th

The WinterFest Spectacular Parade steps-off at noon from New Hope-Solebury High and marches over the bridge into Lambertville. Family fun continues at St. John’s with free music and theater performance for the kids from 10 am to 3 pm.

Happening throughout the day watch artist create works of art with our live Ice Sculpting displays:

  • 11am Lambertville House
  • 1:30pm  Lambertville Station
  • 3pm New Hope Visitors Center

Take a break from the action with Rotary’s Beef ‘n Brew event at Triumph Brewery from 1pm to 4pm.  Tickets $40.

On Saturday night, the New Hope Parks and Recreation present a Tribute to Dora Kerr at 6:30pm at Memorable Affairs –Occasions. Tickets $85.

Sunday January 26th

From 8am to 11:30am, The New Hope High School Girls Soccer team cooks a Pancake Breakfast at the NHS Cafeteria. Tickets $6.50 Adults $5.00 Seniors $3.50, Children 3 to 12

The Annual Chili Cook-Off takes place from 1pm to 3pm at Memorable Affairs-Occasions in New Hope.  Come sample 12 Restaurants secret recipes and cast your vote for the 2013 Chili Champion.

Weekend Festival Tours will be available at the Marshall House Museum/ Perry Mansion.  Lambertville-New Hope Historic Walking Tour and take a History and Nature Walk along the D&R Canal.

Food Drive throughout the weekend.  Fisherman’s Mark will be collecting non-perishable food items at locations throughout Lambertville and New Hope.
