That's why many local Bucks residents and businesses are banding together to raise money and collect supplies for those affected. Hurricane Relief Food Drive for Fisherman's Mark, sponsored by Williamson Clinical Consulting, LLC,

Christie Williamson, a lifelong resident of Bucks County, is organizing a Hurricane Relief Food Drive this Sunday, November 18, from 10am-4pm at the Giant Food Store in New Hope, PA (6542, Logan Square, New Hope, PA 18938).

This drive will benefit Fisherman's Mark, a food pantry and social services organization in Lambertville, NJ which serves over 12,000 community members annually, and at which I am a regular volunteer. Due to the devastating effects of Hurricane Sandy, Fisherman's Mark was forced to close their food pantry for over a week. They were unable to receive donations at this time and lost ALL of their frozen/refrigerated food items.

They are collecting canned/non-perishable food and drinks, toiletry items and monetary donations to help Fisherman's Mark replenish their shelves, refrigerators and freezers.

Anyone willing to stop by for an hour or two to help collect donations at the doors of Giant or to help load up the cars at the end of the day at 4pm, please contact Christie Williamson at christielynne.williamson@gmail.com or 215-266-6579. Your time for this critical effort will be GREATLY appreciated by many!

Local Resident Collects Supplies to Aid Sandy Victims
Local Resident Kelly Tsarnas has launched a campaign to collect supplies for those who have been devastated by Hurricane Sandy in Staten Island. Kelly has been collecting supplies through donations and has been given 50% off supplies from Home Depot and is continuing to make deliveries to Staten Island. She has partnered closely with a local church in Staten Island in order to get supplies to residents and workers twice a week.

To help Kelly with her efforts you can donate cleanup supplies (such as brooms, shovels, masks, industrial cleaners, sponges, crowbars, hammers, industrial trash bags, storage bins, buckets, etc.) or gift certificates to various local restaurants, Toys R Us gift cards, or monetary donations.

Joe Canals of Lawrenceville Supports Shore Victims
When Hurricane Sandy hit late October, the devastation left in the wake of the storm has affected us all. Our area has begun recovering restoring the damage, but it will be a slow process, for sure. The Joe Canal's family sends our thoughts and love to the victims of Hurricane Sandy. To show our support and solidarity, for every bottle of our exclusive “The Shore” wines sold, we will be donating $1 to the American Red Cross, through December 31st.

Know of any local efforts to benefit Sandy Victims? Let us know of any benefits, fundraisers, or events here!
