Issac Newton’s in Newtown, PA has been a staple in Pennsylvania’s craft beer scene for over 20 years. With their extensive draft and bottle selection, Issac’s is Mecca for any beer geek. And with names from breweries such as Dogfish Head, Victory, and Weyerbacher, they’ll have a beer for any palate.
But this Thursday a new name will show up on Issac’s beer list. Although not a newcomer to the local craft beer scene, River Horse Brewing Company from Lambertville, NJ will be hosting their first River Horse Night at Issac’s. From 7PM-9PM come on out to enjoy River Horse’s offering as well as meet the folks behind the scenes who are responsible for brewing NJ’s finest craft beer.
On the menu will be four River Horse beers:
1. Hop-A-Lot-Amus DIPA – Four kinds of Pacific Northwest hops, our Double IPA is a must try for any “hop head.”
2. Tripel Horse – River Horse's most popular beer; 10% ABV Belgian style ale brewed with coriander.
3. Oatmeal Milk Stout – A sweet, smooth stout. Complex flavors as bittersweet chocolate and roasted coffee make this one perfect for the winter months.
4. Belgian Freeze – River Horse's version of a Belgian Dubbel. Dark crystal malts round out the complexities of the Belgian Abbey yeast used in this beer.
So Thursday 12/16 hop on over to PA’s best beer bar to try NJ’s best beers.
