If you asked random locals to name Newtown's quintessential eatery, it's a fair bet to say that the majority of them would name Isaac Newton's, a restaurant and bar located smack in the middle of town that has been open for over 24 years. Even a devastating fire in 2002 couldn't stop this popular Newtown eatery from thriving; Isaac Newton's rebuilt with a vengeance and one year later, re-opened with a new extended dining room.
For decades, Isaac Newton’s has been the backdrop to so many of those special moments that form the unbreakable bond between a community and it's residents – from birthday dinners to high school graduations to after-work drinks to date nights. Best known for their impressive beer bar, Isaac's features a constantly rotating selection of craft brews on draft as well as their “Beer Treasury”- an Isaac Newton encyclopedia of bottles. However, beyond their beer selection, Isaac's appeals to a wide range of Newtown-ians with their unique combination of three establishments in one. There is the bar side, downstairs dining (including a scenic outdoor patio), and the upstairs dining room, where families with young children often gather for a carefree dinner.
