Event Details: Jeff Norman, Master Taster for Jack Daniel's, will host a FREE event to sample Jack Daniel's Single Barrel, Gentleman Jack and Tennessee Honey.  Jeff will be signing Jack Daniel's whiskey bottles for you, which will be available to purchase at the event.

About Jeff Norman: Lynchburg, Tennessee, native Jeff Norman was born to work at the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg (pop. 361), Tennessee. His parents, Harry and Sara, collectively dedicated more than 70 years of service to making the world’s most popular whiskey before retiring. His father, a taster, even appeared in several ads.  And in 2003, after receiving his Ph.D. in environmental chemistry from Tennessee Tech University, Jeff came home to Lynchburg to carry on the family legacy and started working as a still man.

Since then, Jeff has kept watch over our special grains and cave water as they go through the fermentation process, and was recently made a quality control specialist. He now spends his days on the master tasting panel, selecting the whiskey that will become Jack Daniel’s Single Barrel, and testing the whiskey before it’s bottled to ensure it’s up to the same standard Mr. Jack held.  Jeff and his wife, Nicole, live in Lynchburg.
