The Winterfest Parade in New Hope

Are you getting a little stir-crazy this winter?  While the last few weeks may have been chilly, you will be welcoming the chill this week…at the Chili Cook Off that is.

This weekend, Lambertville & New Hope kick off  the week-long spectacular known as the Winterfest Celebration.  There are  tons of awesome events lined up all week long to melt away your winter blues. From concerts to movies to dancing to parades, there is something for everyone.

This weekend, the Fire and Ice Ball at the New Hope Arts Centers gets things started with live music, dance, & food.  Then all week long, the river towns will showcase their best with events like the spectacular light show, Triumph Brewery's winter keg tapping, & Taste of Winterfest

In it's closing weekend, January 28th-30th, Winterfest pulls out all of the stops. Over the last weekend in January they'll host a photo tour, story time, live ice carving, the annual parade, a variety of scenic & historic tours, concerts, & so much more. Unfortunately, the annual Chili Cook Off, featuring chefs from the area & Lambertville's River Horse beer, is already sold out, but if you weren't one of the lucky ones to score a ticket, there are still tons of other fun activities to check out.  On Friday, Jan 28th at 8 PM, don't miss the band Poco performing their hits “Crazy Love”, “Rose Of Cimarron”, “Heart Of The Night”, “A Good Feelin’ To Know” and “Call It Love”.  (TICKETS PAGE)  While you're enjoying the festivities, take advantage of  free parking at Union Square over the Winter Festival weekend – from Friday 5:30 PM through Sunday at 6:00 PM.

The Chilifest is SOLD OUT

Of course, while you're having an amazing time, you can also be helping the community with the Second Annual Food Drive for Fisherman’s Mark.  The need for food is a crisis in our community.  This problem that can easily be solved with each of us contributing a small amount and collectively filling the need.  Food donation canisters will be provided along the parade route as well as at all ticketed events.   For complete information about the food drive, please visit the Fisherman's Mark page.
