Southern Farm Catering, Your Destination for Comfort Food

Southern Farm Catering, Your Destination for Comfort Food

Southern Farm Catering (formerly Smoke’n Dudes BBQ Catering) serves Southern-inspired classic dishes from bayou Jambalaya and classic barbecue like slow-smoked ribs and hickory pulled pork, to modern American favorites such as Sunday pot roast and buffalo chicken hand pies — all of which are sure to make you and your guests feel all warm and cozy. While some of their recipes are new and some passed down, all are homemade in the kitchen using only the freshest ingredients and locally sourced produce whenever possible. Southern Farm Catering focuses on a personal approach to both their dishes and clients. They take Southern hospitality to heart and treat everyone like a neighbor.

The farm provides catering trays and packages, as well as special events such as the Southern Farm Restaurant Night — a once-a-month reservation-only event in which they open our Farmhouse Room as a restaurant offering a BYOB 5 course, prixe fixe, chef’s dinner. In addition, the catering company holds an annual chef’s dinner inspired by Anthony Bourdain, in which a portion of the proceeds are donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Southern Farm Catering, 222 Horsham Road, Horsham, PA 19044, 267-435-FARM (3276), southernfarmcatering.com

Harvest Seasonal, Know Your Farmer, Know Your Food

Harvest Seasonal

At Harvest Seasonal Grill, they believe that where your food comes from is as important as what you eat. Every three months, they introduce a new seasonally-inspired menu, featuring farm-fresh ingredients from their local, trusted farm partners. This approach results in not only the most nutrient-dense dining options for guests but also aligns with Harvest's mission of sustainability and supporting our local economies. In their humble opinion, there are few better (or more delicious) examples of Harvest Seasonal Grill’s guiding principle of “farm-to-table for everyone” than this summer menu’s Blackened Grass-Fed Sirloin Steak.

Harvest's sirloin is locally-sourced from their friends at Local Harvest, a community of small family-run farms (many of them multi-generational) in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Local Harvest’s premium Angus beef is raised with absolutely-zero antibiotics or hormones, is 100% pasture-raised & grass-fed, and is third-party certified Humane, making them the perfect example of Harvest's dedication to serving the season’s best flavors naturally. As the perfect cocktail accompaniment, the  “Harvest Peach Old Fashioned” is highly encouraged. Mirroring the dining menu, the seasonably-changing cocktail list also uses natural, seasonally-sourced ingredients, ensuring that at Harvest, there is an appetizer, entrée, dessert, wine pairing, and cocktail for each-and-every guest. Harvest Seasonal, 2865 S Eagle Rd, Newtown, PA 18940 215-944-8469
