The Middletown Grange Fair will be held August 18th through August 22nd at Penns Park Road in Wrightstown to continue it's support for Bucks County agriculture. What is grange? Simply put, it started out as a farmers organization that evolved into a grassroots, non-partisan, non-sectarian, fraternal organization with its roots in agriculture. This year, over 4,200 items will be entered into the fair ranging from vegetables to sheep!

The Grange Fair has become a huge part of life for farmers throughout the county. It not only provides support for locals but includes food, entertainment, exhibits and shows. The entertainment schedule lists all activities planned for the weekend. Everyday the fun starts at 10am with something new happening almost every half hour. Some of the schedule includes hot dog pig races, tractor parades, horse hayrides, tractor pulls and even a chocolate cake baking contest! The things to see and do are endless at the Grange Fair.

Make sure to visit the “Grange experience booth” which is located next to building four. This booth allows people to really understand what the Grange has to offer and all they do for the community. The Grange also invites you to be a part of the family! This year marks the Grange Fair's 62 year running although the organization has been in existence since 1876. The Grange continues to bring together Bucks County agriculture in order to put on the five day fair for the community.

So why not take some time out to support your local farms? There will be delicious homemade food, arts and crafts, live entertainment, floral exhibits, handcrafts and amusement rides! Take one day or all five days to celebrate Bucks County agriculture.
