On your mark, get set, go! This Saturday, people from all over the area will be running a muck in Washington Crossing Park in Titusville- that is, they will be participating in the Run-a-Muck 5K & Music Festival. This is by far the most interesting 5k I have ever come across- featuring hills, river crossings, walls, obstacles, and mud pits!
Participants can race individually, in couples, or as a team of four, but of course those options would be too simple for Run-a-Muck; singles, doubles, and teams also have the option to run in costumed races! There is even an “open” category with “no requirements on attire and footware.” (I must admit that one makes me a bit nervous!)
Music will also be playing all day on an outdoor stage, featuring local acts and cover bands. Food & drinks will be available. There are only 2 days left to register so get a team together, let the hose run all day in your backyard, and start practicing.
