Mark your calendar; Saturday, May 11, 2013 is Family Fun Day at the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad!  From 11am to 4pm, join in for FREE family friendly activities, giveaways, demonstrations, concessions and more.

Scenic train rides, pulled by a 1925 Baldwin steam locomotive will also depart the New Hope station throughout the day. Departures are scheduled every hour from 11:00am to 4:00pm from the New Hope station. On board passengers can choose from a variety of seating classes, enjoy ice cold beverages or refreshing cocktail, and a live historical narration. Tickets for the train ride may be reserved in advance at www.newhoperialroad.com or purchased upon arrival at the ticket window.

Family Fun Day participants will receive (1) FREE child’s train ticket for any Hourly Excursion on a future date of their choice during the 2013 season. Children will enjoy a variety of activities and crafts throughout the day, along with railroad demonstrations (NEW for 2013) for all ages.

All visitors will be in the running for door prizes and giveaways throughout the day and receive special discounts for the 2013 Song & Story Hour season. Also, all participants may enter to win a FREE child’s birthday party on the Birthday Train, from the New Hope & Ivyland Railroad.
