FACT “Diva Night Bingo!” May 11, 2011 – 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM at
New Hope Eagle Volunteer Fire Company: FACT Bucks County and New Hope’s own diva, Pumpkin, welcome the Philadelphia Gay Men’s Chorus’ “Dreamgirls” Howard Frankel, Martin Mariano and Richard Tinley. This diva trio brought the house down at the PGMC “Showstoppers” gala fundraiser last November in Center City. Now, PGMC’s divas are coming to New Hope to add some more glitter and glitz to FACT’s Diva Night Bingo.The trio will perform a medley of hits from the original dreamgirls, The Supremes.

NHC “Freedom to BE” Parade May 14, 2011 – 11:40 AM at Ferry Street east and South Main: Floats, entertainers, bands, service groups Colorful, ebullient and what a way to start the day! Floats, cars, bands, girls, boys, music and more will be strolling and marching down our fine streets. We’ve been blessed with perfect weather for the past 7 years, so we plan on keeping it that way! This event is all ages, although the bars and restaurants along the parade route will be open and partying all day and night!

Artist Lorraine Raywood will guide you through the galleries and historian, Roy Ziegler, will talk about the vivid history of New Hope as you stroll along the tour route to each gallery. The tour begins at 7:00 PM at the New Hope Arts Center at the corner of West Bridge Street and Stockton Avenue.
