The Newtown Fire Association will be hosting the Newtown Blues and Brews on Saturday, September 25th, 2010 from 12:30- 5:30 pm at The Stocking Works in Newtown Borough, and tickets will be going on sale today- Wednesday, 5/26- at Isaac Newtons so hurry up!  In year's past, Newtown brewfest tickets have sold out in a matter of hours.

For the past few years, Newtown Brewfest has been a great way to enjoy awesome beer, music, and friends, but now you'll also be contributing to several great causes by attending.  A majority of the funds will be going towards purchasing equipment for the Newtown Fire Association and a surveillance video camera for one of the Newtown Police cars.

The general admission price is $40, but if you want to make the day extra special you can purchase some of the limited “First Tap” tickets for $75. “First Tap” will include access to special brews, complimentary food, and a t-shirt. Designated Driver tickets will also be available for $10.

This year tickets sales will be done slightly differently than in the past. After Isaac Newtons kicks off sales on Wednesday, May 26th, several other bars in Newtown will follow with cash only tickets (limited to 2 per person). The Temperance House will sell beginning June 5th, as well as The Grotto (soon to be renamed The Black Horse) and The Brick Hotel at times yet to be determined.  After that, a limited number of tickets will be available to purchase online on Sunday June 13th.

Between craft Brews and soulful Blues, this year's festival promises to be one to remember.
