In September, the community suffered a huge loss when Officer Brad Fox was killed in action as a K-9 Police Officer with the Plymouth Township Police Department. He left behind a loving family- including wife Lynsay, their daughter Kadence, and their unborn son- as well as many dear friends in his hometown of Warminster and beyond. Those friends have teamed up with one of Brad's favorite restaurants, Kenney's Madison Tavern, to hold The Inaugural Officer Brad Fox 5K Run/ 1K Walk on Saturday, April 6, 2013. This event will raise money for the family Brad left behind.
Brad was a Warminster native, a Marine who proudly served two deployments in Iraq, and a Police Officer who protected the community he served.
The entire 5K course is contained within Warminster Community Park. The 1K Walk will follow a different path but will also be contained entirely within the park. Registrants will receive a t-shirt, refreshments after the race, additional promotional items to be provided by race sponsors and prizes for finishers in each age group.
