Rekindle the Past!
On Friday, January 23, 2015, Yardley Friends Meeting will host a 6:30pm Colonial Cooking demonstration conducted by Mercy Ingraham followed by a potluck dinner.
Mercy has been showing people how cooking was done on the open hearth at many of the areas historic sites throughout the region. She is author of Colonial Burlington Cookery, an updated publication based on a book originally written by hand in 1770.
This event is open to the public and promises a fun winter's night for the whole family.
