The 39th Annual Festival of Trees at the Pearl S. Buck House, a National Historic Landmark, will be held from November 14 through December 30, 2017. Guided tours are available daily. Décor Tours and Candlelight Tours are available at specific days and times, by reservation only.

Each year during this festival, the rooms of Pearl S. Buck’s iconic Bucks County stone farmhouse come alive with the glow of holiday decorations. The event showcases beautiful trees and vignettes designed by some of Bucks County’s best artists and decorators as well as trees and vignettes decorated by local community groups to convey the spirit of Pearl S. Buck’s legacy as an author, humanitarian, and activist. The Festival of Trees is one of the most unique and historic holiday traditions in the region.

Regular guided tours from November 14 through November 22, 2017:
• Monday through Saturday 11 am, 1 pm & 2 pm
• Sunday 1 pm &, 2 pm
• Adults $16, Seniors $13, Students $8
• No reservation required

Regular guided tours from November 24 through December 30, 2017 (except Nov 23, Dec 24, and Dec 25)
• Mon–Sat 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm
• Sun 12 pm, 1 pm, 2 pm, 3 pm

On Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 6 to 8 PM Pearl S. Buck International will hold their annual Community Holiday Open House, continuing Pearl S. Buck’s tradition of hosting the local community at a seasonal party in her barn. During this festive evening there will be a performance of selections from the Nutcracker Ballet by the Budzynski Ballet Theater, holiday music performed by Annamarie Dieterle on Pearl S. Buck’s original organ, an appearance by Santa & Mrs. Claus, and complimentary tours of the Festival of Trees. At the conclusion of the evening the winners of the Festival of Trees contest will be announced.

The Community Holiday Open House will be held at the Cultural Center on the grounds of the Pearl S. Buck House, a National Historic Landmark, which is located at 520 Dublin Road, Perkasie, PA 18944-3000.
