Easels popped up across the county this week as 30 Artists competed for $15,000 as part of the third annual Bucks County Plein Air Festival. It featured outdoor painting all week and produced an incredible 150 or more paintings. Many capturing picturesque corners of Bucks County.

The whole production wraps this weekend with an awards ceremony June 8 and Community Day June 9. to be a part of the comm

The final two days will wind down at Bucks County Community College in Newtown. It includes prizes awarded at the Tyler Tasting Party Friday, and a free Community Day with an exhibition, sale and “quick-draw” competition Saturday.

The festival was cohosted by Bucks County Community College, the Central Bucks Chamber of Commerce, and Alan Fetterman Fine Arts.
