quick-check-ballon-festival-new-jersey-bucks-happeningAs my husband and I descended upon the Annual Quick Check NJ Festival of Ballooning, we realized how excited and how lucky we were! Going in, the evening was a great way to beat the heat. We invested in the VIP package and right away we knew it was the right decision. We had priority parking, a food/beverage concession area (which wasn't crowded!) air conditioned bathrooms, and a tented area to sit and watch the balloons ascend!

It was an awesome sight to see the balloons at dusk filling with hot air and lifting off so gracefully! One by one they took flight. The sight brought me back to my childhood as I was always pleasantly surprised by a view of multiple hot air balloons when visiting parent's friends! I've always enjoyed the sight of hot air balloons. No matter where I may be, if I should spot one – it brings me back to childhood and stops me in my tracks.

The festival is a wonderful family event to take part in. You can spend the whole day there. There are children's activities, lots of food vendors, and shopping! You can simply choose to relax on a blanket and enjoy the music! The best times to be at the event are early in the morning for the balloon lift off and at the end of day.

This year my husband and I selected to leave the kids with a sitter and grab some tickets to hear Air Supply. Yes, a blast from the past! We were pleasantly surprised as to just how wonderful they sounded after all those years.

What a wonderful evening it was for us. From the extra special views of the balloons, to the private eating area and then the concert, this is definitely an event you want to mark down on your calendar for future years!
