On Thursday, August 28, 2014, ShopRite of Yardley held their official ribbon cutting ceremony, led by owner and President Joseph Colalillo, his wife Jeannie – who is responsible for the store's beautiful design, and his two children, Grace & Vincent.

Before opening the doors, the Colalillo family displayed just how serious they take their role as a community partner in Yardley by donating $10,000 to Philabundance.  Lower Makefield Supervisor Board member, Peter Stainthorpe, shared his enthusiasm for the project that transformed an abandoned space into a lively market for the community to enjoy.
