I'm sure many of you had heard that Jersey Shore cast member, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino, was at Parx Casino on Friday, April 1st. No, it wasn't an April Fools! When I first saw this I thought, “The Situation!?? IN BUCKS COUNTY!???” I had to go! Despite the eye rolls, that I'm sure that exclamation just caused, Jersey Shore happens to be my guilty pleasure. Hey, I'm not judging your Kardashian obsession… 😉

There was just one predicament – I already had tickets to see Spring Awakening at Lehigh University that
night!

Solution? I'm doing both!

After a fantastic performance at the Zoellner Center, I rushed home, picked up friends, and headed to
Parx at around 11pm. We arrived just before midnight, the perfect celebrity arrival time, looking just as
good as anyone can look at that hour.

Walking in, we headed straight to the loud, thumping music emanating from the center bar, known as
Club 360. The club is open, meaning you can see inside, thanks to the clear, thick plastic covering the
bulk of the area. We discovered the entrance fee was $20, despite that fact that the website boasts, No
Cover! I figured it was to maintain some crowd control due to the celebrity presence. Commence more
eye rolls!

Due to the fact that we were only going to be staying for about 2 hours and that you could see onto the
stage, we decided against the rather hefty cover. We stood at the entrance for about 15 minutes trying
to catch a glimpse of The Sitch. Throngs of people crowded the stage. Flashes were going off, music was
pumping, fists were pumping. He was there! I knew it! Now if only I wasn't 5'3″ (in heels) and could see
over the greased hair and overly tan girls…

More and more people were crowding the entrance trying to catch a glimpse as well. After another 10
minutes, our late night hunger got the best of us. We weren't going to see him any time soon.

Disappointed, we walked around the casino only to have our spirits slightly lifted by the sight of Chickie's
and Pete's. After drinks, laughing at Jersey Shore wannabes, and some amazing crab fries, we ended the
evening a little bummed, yet satisfied. It was another Bucks County adventure!
