The idea of the Buffalo wing started years ago at the famed Anchor Bar in Buffalo New York. Late at night, after the bars had closed, the owners daughter's friends would come into the anchor bar dying for some delicious late-night food. One night her mother decided to fry the odds and ends of the chicken left over in the kitchen together with a delicious sauce and thus the buffalo wing was born. Today, buffalo wings are almost as synonymous with football as beer. Since we are at the very exciting beginning of the football season here are four places in Bucks County to get great wings and beer while watching some football.

The beer selection is average but the wings are delicious. All you need for a relaxing Sunday watching football and if the weather is nice you can enjoy it on their popular outside deck.

What can we say about the 2013 Happening List Winner for best beer bar? Isaac Newtons offers a laid back but classy atmosphere and the beer selection is great! The menu offers wings as well as a selection of other swankier items such as candied bacon, brie, and poached pears flatbread. How could you go wrong while cheering on your favorite team?
