1. A-Day: A-Day is back on Saturday, April 27th and Sunday, April 28th! Delaware Valley College has been opening itself up to the public for this annual event since 1949. A-Day, which stands for Activities Day, is a family friendly community event that benefits the A-Day Scholarship Fund. It brings the Delaware Valley College students and community together with educational exhibits, competitions, entertainment, fun, and great food. There is a $10 parking fee which includes admission.
2. Shad Fest: Although this is techically outside the confines of the county, it's widely enjoyed by Bucks County residents each year! Each year over the last weekend of April, this popular festival highlights the region's arts community, the City of Lambertville, the Delaware River, and of course, Bucks & Hunterdon County's favorite fish, the Shad! The Shad Festival has evolved from a local art show into a nationally recognized award-winning event, featuring the area’s finest artists and crafters, great food and family entertainment. 3. Newtown Welcome Day: Slated for May 5th from 11am to 4pm, Newtown Welcome day will have the street fair with flair! A juried arts show and and fun activities for the whole family are organized by members of the Newtown Business Association. Play the “Passport Challenge” for a chance to win an Apple iPad grand prize or additional prizes. Visit the Food Court for Tasty Treats.
4. Upper Makefield Carnival: Upper Makefield Fire Company will hold it's annual Family Carnival beginning May 9th through May 14th on Route 32 in Washington Crossing (across from the U.S. Post Office). Hours: Monday thru Saturday 6:00 to 10:00 PM and a special Saturday Afternoon Matinee

6. Perkasie Spring Festival: Downtown Perkasie will come alive with the sounds of music and the aroma of ribs grilling when SpringFest 2013 gets underway at noon on Saturday, May 18.
- At 7 a.m., competitors will begin arriving at the Main Tent (Seventh and Market) to begin the the slow, mouth-watering process of grilling their ribs.
- At 10 am, a 5K Run/1-Mile Fun Run will provide a perfect opportunity for someone looking to try a 5K run for the first time or for an experienced runner looking for a nice level run in a beautiful setting.
- As soon as the ribs are cleared out, the pies will arrive for judging and sampling starting at 2:30 p.m. The popular — and sloppy — pie-eating contest will commence at 3 p.m. for Big Piggies and Little Piggies.
- At 4 p.m., the crowds will gather along 7th Street for the always exciting Big Wheel Downhill Derby. Competitors will risk life and limb as they hurtle down a steep hill on their customized Big Wheels.
- At 5 p.m., it’s time to relax as the beer and wine sampling tent opens, courtesy of the Pennridge/Perkasie Rotary Club. Enjoy craft beers and local wines to finish the day.
