Well, it’s that time of year. Gather your kilts, break out the shot-glass necklace and “Kiss Me I’m 1/8 Irish” tee shirts, because it’s Saint Patrick’s Day again!  Now we know it can be tough, finding the proper venue to bring out your Celtic pride. So we’ve gone and put together a list of events all over Bucks County that’ll keep those Irish Eyes a-smilin.’ Now, because this year Saint Pat’s falls on a weekday, we’ve organized events by date.

Bucks County St. Patrick's Day Parade – Levittown

The Bucks County St. Patrick's Day Parade Committee, Inc will host the Bucks County St. Patrick’s Day Parade, complete with a Miss Irish of Bucks County Competition and Irish Hoolie. The Parade begins at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Church, 9610 New Falls Road, Falls Township. The Fraternal Oder of the Eagles will host a traditional Irish “Hoolie” to wrap up the festivities.

Sesame Place St. Patty's Day Dine – Langhorne

Puck Live – Doylestown

Puck’s Grand Re-Opening March 17th!  Puck has gone green with solar panels on their roof and will be re-opening in time for the GREENEST holiday of the year – St. Patty’s Day!  RATT (Room At The Top) will be open on St. Patrick's day with a Cash Beer and Wine Bar. Then, continue the celebration with the Kelly Stratton and the Punch Drunk Boys!  Admission is free and we’ll have Irish Drink Specials all night!

Sweet Lorraine's– Lahaska

Kiss Me, I’m Sweet! Sweet Lorraine’s Café & Bar is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day, Thursday, March 17 with a full day of great food, drink specials and St. Patrick’s Day giveaways!  All day offers include $2 Bud Light Drafts, $6 Jameson Cocktails,$3 Guinness Pints & special menu additions. Happy Hour Offers 4-6 p.m. in the Bar only include ½ priced drafys and bar food. Washington House/Sellersville Theater – Sellersville

Start the night at 5:00 pm, seating opens for a dinner featuring Irish Menu Specialties: Potato Leek Soup, Corned Beef and Cabbage, Potato Crusted Salmon with garlic leek sauce, Lamb Stew with Irish Soda Bread, Irish Banger Sausages with apple blue cheese mashed potatoes and whiskey brown butter. Reservations are recommended. Then, after your meal, enjoy Bill Monaghan & Celtic Pride – A St. Patty's Day Celebration beginning at 8:00pm. Parking is Free.

The Farmhouse Tavern and Restaurant – Doylestown

The festivities start early at the Farmhouse, with doors open at 7 am!  There will be a traditional Irish Country Breakfast Buffet from 8 am until 11 am. From lunch until 11pm, menu selections include our famous Corned Beef and Cabbage. Bagpipers will play at various times throughout the day.

The Clubhouse knows how to party and will offer all day drink specials starting at 11:30am including: $3.50 Smithwicks, $3.75 Guinness and $6 Car Bombs.  After one of each of the aforementioned Irish drinks, you'll certainly be ready to belt out your best rendition of “Too-La-Roo” on the mic during Karaoke from 9pm – 1am.

With classic Irish food and drinks like Guinness Braised Lamb Chops and Black & Tan Sheppards Pie, Tony's is the Place for St. Patrick's Day. Enjoy Blues/ Classic Rock/Rock artist Joe “O” Coyne as he performs from 4:00 – 7:00pm at Tony’s Place.  Perhaps for one night his “blues” will be “green”? (pictured right) Then, do your best Irish impersonation For Karaoke starting at 9:30pm.

St. Patty’s Day is upon us! To celebrate, Isaac's will be featuring a variety of Stouts and Irish Red Ales on draft, Tullamore Dew will be the Irish whiskey of choice, and corned beef and cabbage will be available all day long (or ‘til it’s gone)! So, stop on by as everyone’s Irish on St. Pat’s!

Newtown Irish Festival– Newtown

The Green Parrot Restaurant Pub & Patio will host the First Annual Newtown Irish Festival March 17-19. The Irish Festival will kick off with a St. Patrick’s Day Party Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 12 noon and will feature a 30’ x 60’ event tent with live entertainment on Silo Drive next to the Green Parrot. Live Irish Music performances include The Naturals (1:00 – 6:00) and The Boys of County Bucks (6:00 – 10:00).The Festival will also feature Irish Step Dancers and Traditional Irish Food including Corned Beef & Cabbage and Shepherd’s Pie. Irish Singer Tom McHugh will perform live in the Restaurant beginning at 1:00. The Festival will continue in the Pub and on the Patio on Friday and Saturday with live Irish Music and Entertainment both days.

Triumph Brewing Company –  New Hope

Triumph is hosting a free event for the whole family starting at noon for a day filled with Irish Music, Irish Food, and of course Irish Beer! Music: Bogside Rougues 1-4pm, Free, Hobnail 5-8pm, Free, Buzz Universe 10pm $5 cover starts at 9pm. Food: Corned Beef, Shepherds Pie, Lamb Stew, Cheddar Stout Fondue (regular menu also available).  Beer: Irish Dry Stout, Irish Red Ale, Celtic Red Ale.  Kids Stuff: Face Painting and Balloon Animals from 1-4pm, Stickers, faux tattoos, coloring books, Balloon drop at 4pm.

The Farmhouse Tavern – Doylestown

Infamous for their captivating sound and merry stage presence, Burning Bridget Cleary has become one of the hottest young bands on the Celtic and folk circuits. Visit The Farmhouse Tavern and Restaurant on the 19th from 8pm – 11pm to hear them play.

Called “the Allman Brothers of Celtic fiddle bands, only prettier” (Mike Weekly, Pottstown Mercury), Burning Bridget Cleary was founded by Genevieve Gillespie and Rose Baldino, who lead the band with high energy and tightly woven harmonies in both fiddle and vocals. The driving rhythm and bass end is supplied by veteran Philadelphia guitarist, Lou Baldino, and Canadian native, Peter Trezzi, on djembe.

Indian Rock Inn – Upper Black Eddy
