summer guide

School’s out for summer, sun and fun abound, which means you will be on the look-out for activities that are family friendly and life enhancing. Creating treasured memories is part of the allure of summer. Bucks County is known for its arts and cultural scene. It is no accident that it is referred to as The Genius Belt since many creative icons have made their home here, such as Oscar Hammerstein, James A. Michener, George S. Kaufman, Moss Hart and Pearl S. Buck. The landscape lends itself to hiking and biking, picnicking and swimming. For those who simply want to chill, there are parks in which you can spread a blanket and gaze at the clouds as they lazily pass overhead. There is something for everyone here in our region that makes it a vacation destination for visitors from around the world. How fortunate we are that these events are in our back yard. You can also check our the Bucks Happening calendar for more fun local happenings.
