Art in the Barn Candle Making Workshop
When: Saturday, April 22 at 7pm
Where: Old Nursery Farm, 91 Rogers Road, Furlong PA
Have fun learning how to create your own scent and bring home a custom hand-poured candle! This workshop is a 2 hour experience making a custom candle where you can choose from a variety of fragrances, pour a 7.5 oz candle, create a personalized label, add glitter, gemstones, and stickers! Sheep Shearing Day
When: Saturday, April 22 from 10 am to 3:30 pm
Where: 2030 Shearer Road, Lansdale, PA
Experience springtime on a colonial farm with a sheep shearing demonstration! Follow the “wool to wardrobe” and learn about spinning and weaving. Tour a 18th century historic house and learn about woodworking, basket-weaving, and more! At noon, Tuckers’ Tales Puppet Theatre will perform for the kids and don’t forget to stop by the Dutch Country Soft Pretzel food truck to grab a treat! The event is free for all ages!

The Half Life of Marie Curie

It’s opening night of Lauren Gunderson's The Half-Life of Marie Curie! Come see the story of Marie Curie and colleague Hertha Ayrton in a tale of female friendship as it explores the relationship between these two brilliant women. Spring FunFest at Peddler’s Village
When: Saturday & Sunday, April 22 & 23 from 11am to 5pm
Where: Peddler's Village, Routes 202 & 263 Lahaska, PA
Celebrate Spring FunFest on at Peddler’s Village! Geared towards visitors of all ages, this fun-packed weekend festival will include a Family Fun Walk benefitting the Autism Cares Foundation, outdoor food and drinks, live entertainment, and kids’ activities. A central attraction of the festival will be PEEPS® in the Village, a free display featuring all kinds of unique marshmallow creations.

Beethoven, Mendelssohn, & Strauss – Performance by the Chamber Orchastra of Philadelphia
When: Sunday, April 23 at 3pm
Where: Newtown Middle School – 116 Richboro Rd, Newtown, PA
Come hear Beethoven’s iconic 7th Symphony, along with the expansive pieces of a young Richard Strauss and Mendelssohn’s musical love-letters to Scotland. Philadelphia Orchestra Principal Horn Jennifer Montone joins the Chamber Orchestra for this performance of Germanic greats. Get tickets here.

Live Music at the Boiler Room
When: April 21 & 22 from 6-9pm

Delaware University’s A-Day
When: April 21-23
Where: 700 E. Butler Ave, Doylestown, PA
DelVal students are proud to present the 73rd A-Day! Come enjoy farm animals and other educational exhibits, pony rides, pig races, arts and crafts vendors, a tractor exhibit, food and live music all weekend long.
