It's officially August but summer isn't over yet. Check out Charlann Farm's Sweet Corn Festival with corn crafts and corn-themed games all weekend. FZ Works in Yardley is hosting a Comedy Night where you will get to decide which comedian does it best. Check out our full list of weekend events below.
Sweet Corn Festival
Charlann Farms, 586 Stony Hill Road, Yardley, PA
August 3-4, 11-5 pm
Charlann Farms is bringing back it's second annual Sweet Corn Festival. The festival will feature corn crafts and corn-themed games/activities. A ticket will be required, but once inside, there will be live entertainment by the Back Beat (Saturday) and Local Honey Band (Sunday), our huge Jump Pad, barrel cart rides, and a definite favorite among the kids – the corn pit! There will delicious sweet corn and other food and beverage vendors. Be sure to have an appetite for the corn eating contest, corn shucking, corn hole, and more! Pony rides, food/beverages will be an additional fee.
Comedy Night | FZ Works
9 Main Street, Yardley, PA
August 3, 8-9:30 pm
Come out to Comedy Night at FZ Works with a lineup of 3 comedians – Steve Young, Barb Marsdale and Sandy Ehlers – along with host Time Conniff. You get to decide who does it best at Yardley's FZ Works. The event is BYOB and doors open at 7 pm.
Arthropalooza
Churchville Nature Center, 501 Churchville Lane, Churchville, PA
August 3-4, 11 am – 4 pm
Join Churchville Nature Center for a weekend celebrating all things arthropods. There will be a variety of activities and displays in the gardens, patio and butterfly house. Admission is free for members and $8 for non-members. Children 3 and under are free. Admission will give you access to live arthropods, butterfly house tours, games, insect and honey tasting, beekeeper meet and greet, cockroach races, crafts, pond dip netting, and more!
Family Fun Day Foam Party

Quakertown Farmers Market is throwing a FOAM Party! We Bring The Fun 365 is bringing their amazing foam machine to make mountains of foam for everyone to play in. Kids and adults can play in the foam, bounce beach balls around, and dance along to the live band on the stage. Plus, they will have a bounce house, balloon twisters, and Summer Crafts!
