George Washington's 293rd Birthday

Sunday, February 16th, 11 am –  2 pm
1112 River Rd, Washington Crossing, PA

Celebrate George Washington's 293rd Birthday.  If you didn’t get the chance to enter the  “Let’s Draw George” contest, start by making a birthday card – they'll provide the art supplies. This family-friendly event features hands-on activities for kids, including Quill Pen Writing, Whirly-Gig Game making, and a soldiers’ drill. Visitors can also enjoy Colonial Cooking, Spinning, Blacksmithing, Musket Firing, Artillery demonstrations, and more. The museum and gift shop will be open to explore. At 1:45 pm, gather in the Visitor Center to sing “Happy Birthday” to George and he'll cut his birthday cake, generously donated by The Caketeria in Newtown, with his iconic sword.
