Back Woods Hike

Join Friends of Tyler State Park as they explore the back woods of Tyler State Park. This hike will be a moderate 3 mile loop hike on the Cooper Trail which is mainly unpaved. It will begin at the Tyler Center for the Arts. Hiking shoes and/or hiking poles are suggested.

Unearth the history of drive-in movie theaters! The concept of drive-in theaters began in South Jersey and its popularity eventually grew throughout the country. The Delaware Valley was loaded with drive-ins during the theaters’ peak popularity: the Lincoln, the Andalusia, the Bucks County, the Roosevelt and more. In this program hosted by Temple University professor Irv Slifkin, you'll take a look at the history of outdoor theaters, the unique drive-in experience and area “passion pits” we knew and loved. Family Fun Day at the Half-Moon Inn

Join the Newtown Historic Association on Sunday, June 28, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM for docent-led tours of the Half-Moon Inn, along with family activities including: historical dress photo shoot, America 250 coloring contest, corn hole, potato sack races, spoon and potato races, tug of war, muster drills, quilt making activities, quill pin and ink writing. Weekly Garden Tours at Andalusia

Andalusia is now offering weekly tours of the gardens every Friday at 1pm. Enjoy a leisurely walk learning about what plants are in bloom and what work has been done to cultivate and maintain the gardens. These tours will be led by a rotation of Andalusia staff from the garden and grounds team. Free for Members or with admission of and kind, the Weekly Garden Tours are a great reason to visit and join!
