A Curious Newtown Evening

When: March 24, 5:00 – 10:00 PM

Where: The Newtown Theatre | 120 North State StreetNewtown, PA 18940

Indulge in a night of art and curiosity in beautiful Newtown, PA. A Curious Evening begins at ArtWRKD art consortium at 126 S. State Street in Newtown where guests can enjoy their current show, “The Wonder Room.” From 5-7 PM, guests can view work from 10 artists based on the curiosity theme. Beginning at 7 PM, make your way down the street to the Newtown Theatre will open its doors for a show that will feature a number of “curious acts” of a sideshow nature including a contortionist, a fire eater, a belly dancer, and magician.

Cabaret

Where: Bristol Riverside Theatre | 120 Radcliffe St, Bristol, PA 19007

Head over to Bristol this weekend for a showing of what has been called “one of the great Broadway musicals of all time.” The Bristol Riverside Theatre is putting on multiple showings of Cabaret this weekend for all to enjoy! This Tony-award-winning musical centers around the Kit Kat Club, a hot and sleazy nightclub in 1931 Berlin. When American writer Cliff Bradshaw arrives looking for inspiration, he falls for its star performer, Sally Bowles. However, their decadent lifestyle is soon threatened by the Nazis’ impending rise to power. It's a show everyone is bound to enjoy!

Yoga with Rescue Dogs

Nature Center Discovery Day

Where: Peace Valley Nature Center 170 N Chapman Rd | Doylestown, PA 18901 United State

Grab the family and discover Peace Valley Park's updated nature center with a variety of nature-themed activities the whole family can enjoy! Discover Day is a free event where visitors ages 5 through 12 can learn unique nature topics through activities and exploration. Families are invited to go on a self-guided nature scavenger hunt or enjoy the trails on their own!

Collaborative Cooking

When: March 25th, 11:00 – 3:00 PM

Where: Pottsgrove Manor | 100 W King St, Pottstown, PA 19464

Professor of English and rare-cooking blogger Marissa Nicosa is stepping into the kitchen at Pottsgrove Manor. Join Nicosa as she shares details on her research and what cooking manuscripts can teach about the kitchens of the past. The museum staff and Nicosa will share their work with historic foods. Recipe cards will be available to take home to try in your own kitchen and highlight from the day will be shared on social media throughout the program too!

Spring Preview Event

When: March 24th, 9AM – 5 PM or March 25th, 11 AM – 1 PM
