Weekend Happenings | November 21-23

Shady Brook Farm is celebrating 10 years of Dashin' Thru the Lights. All proceeds go to local charities and causes. This is a family friendly event on November 21st that kicks off their Holiday Light Show season! With a DJ spinning up lively music, fire pits to warm up with, and some terrific photo ops!

A coming-of-age story by Louisa May Alcott that follows the four March sisters—Meg, Jo, Beth, and Amy—as they transition from childhood to womanhood during the American Civil War. Set in a New England town, the story details their individual journeys to achieve their own versions of happiness, dealing with domestic struggles, romantic relationships, and personal growth, all while their father serves as an army chaplain. Key events include the sisters' relationships with their kind neighbor, Laurie, the tragic death of Beth from scarlet fever, and the eventual marriages of Meg to John Brooke, Amy to Laurie, and Jo to Professor Bhaer.

Come to the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting Festival in downtown Quakertown! The event takes place on Saturday, November 22nd from 4-7PM for a night full of festive fun as we welcome Santa and Mrs. Claus and light the tree! (Rain date: Sunday, November 23rd from 4-7PM).
