The temperatures have finally dropped, so it's time to embrace the season with fall flavors like the ubiquitous pumpkin spice as well as apple and cinnamon. Plus, you'll be looking for comfort food dishes such as soups, mac and cheese, pot pie and turkey. Here's a list of some Bucks County favorites to get your mind (and your belly!) thinking fall.

Some of the recent cupcake flavors include pumpkin pie, apple cider, sweet potato, chocolate pumpkin and fall pumpkin. All cupcakes have a filling and are made from scratch. During the month of October, they’re offering a pumpkin pie spiced Ghiradelli Cocoa topped with a toasted marshmallow skewer, chocolate covered ginger snap, whipped cream and candy corn! Isaac Newton’s is our Happening List Winner for Kid-Friendly Restaurant, but the Newtown favorite doesn’t stop with great kid food. There’s really something for everyone. And for this time of year, we’d recommend going with something like the hand-carved turkey sandwich and hot soup (be sure to ask about the seasonal special!); mini mac and cheese pies; Shepherd’s pie; or flatbread with candied bacon, brie and poached pears.
