2019 Sunflower Festival at Hellerick’s Family Farm

When: Now through September 2 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. (tickets are for specific 3-hour time slots, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; 1 p.. to 4 p.m. or 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.)

Hellerick’s Farm invites you to walk or take a hayride to their 2+ aSunfcre sunflower field. It’s a wonderful way to spend a relaxing late summer day enjoying and photographing a bit of nature. Admission is $12.99 for guests over the age of 3 and includes access to the Sunflower Fields, Sunflower Festival Tent and the Adventure Farm with over 40 family-friendly activities. L’il Angels Consignment Event for the Fall/Winter Season

When: Friday, August 23 (Pass Holder Pre-Sale) from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.; Saturday, August 24 from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Sunday, August 25 from 8 p.m. to 2 p.m.
Where: St. Ephrem Catholic Church, 5400 Hulmeville Road, Bensalem

Broadway Summer Spectacular at the Bristol Riverside Theater

When: Thursday, August 22 at 2 p.m.; Friday, August 23 at 8:00 PM; Saturday, August 24 at 3 p.m. and 8 p.m.; Sunday, August 25 at 3:00 p.m.

Bristol Riverside Theatre concludes its Summer Music Fest series with a trip to the Great White Way…BRT style. Back by popular demand, Broadway Summer Spectacular brings Broadway to Bristol in one sensational concert, August 15-25. It’ll be an evening packed with Broadway’s best from composers like Andrew Lloyd Webber, Jerry Herman, and Leonard Bernstein. Led by Keith Baker and the BRT Concert Band, the program features BRT favorites Elyse Langley, Michele Sexton, Liam Snead, and Tasha Waters. Langhorne Rotary’s Free Pet Fair & Family Fun Day

When: Saturday, August 24 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Bristol Township Free Outdoor Summer Movie Night

When: Saturday, August 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 10 p.m.
Where: Bristol Municipal Complex Park, 2501 Bath Road, Bristol

Bring the kids out for a night of fun before school begins! Bounce houses and concessions begin at 6:30 p.m. Movie will begin at dusk, approximately 7:45 p.m. Bring your own blankets and chairs.

2nd Annual Doylestown Un-Run to Benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of Bucks County

When: Sunday, August 25 from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Burpee Park at 51-99 S. Church Street and Chambers 19 Bistro & Bar at 19 North Main Street, Doylestown

Participate in the season’s most laid-back sporting event – The Doylestown Un-Run. Check in at Burpee Park between 11:30 a.m. and noon for fun activities before you stroll, jog or run the half mile course to Chambers 19 Bistro & Bar. There, you will be rewarded with live music, drink specials, small bites, a silent raffle and 50/50 drawing. Pre-registration is $25. Register the day of the event for $30. 28th Annual Ukrainian Folk Festival

When: Sunday, August 25 from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Lower State and County Line Roads, Horsham

Enjoy an outdoor summer stage concert and show (1:30 to 4:30 PM), a public social dance (4:30 – 8:00 PM), homemade Ukrainian foods and baked goods, BBQ pit, standard picnic fare, kid’s fun area, vendors grove, Ukrainian arts and crafts displays and bazaar, cool refreshments, Live Reenactments from Ukrainian history and Ukrainian hospitality.
